Hey guys!
I started my Master's Thesis (again) this month so I am completely swamped in my downtime. Sorry, but there won't be any posts until I have it done. I'll send out an email once I have it done or am caught up in the process:) to let you know I'm blogging again. Thanks for understanding, I really want to complete it this time and am determined...

Brielle's Drawing
So, for those of you who don't know Brielle's walking story, it goes along with the picture below and I'll describe it. Brielle is strange in that she doesn't like to do things halfway. She took her first steps around 10 1/2 months she actually let go of the couch and walked a few steps and then fell. Then she didn't do it again, no matter how hard we tried, until after a year (besides holding onto furniture). I was a bit worried, but my mom said she was fine and not to bother with it. Well, sure enough a bit after she turned one, I was changing Ashlynn's diaper and she said "look Brielle's walking" and she walked across the room and has never stopped since. I guess she just didn't want to do it until she wouldn't fall, the same goes for this picture. We were doodling at the table one night and she says look "I drew a rainbow!" And the most she had done before this point was indistinguishable circles and lines...so we said draw us a person. And she did, complete with circle eyes and fingers and arms...and she hasn't done anything since this picture. Crazy huh? Oh and the blue thing is a mouse...not sure about that one!

Merry (belated) Christmas!
Merry Christmas to everyone! I am sorry for posting so late. We had a fabulous Christmas and the girls were so enjoyable to observe. Two of my favorite quotes of the day were "I've been waiting to open this for two years!" Spoken by Ash about a present that she had been shaking and wondering about since we put it by the tree. And "I was wanting this on the news!" I think she meant she saw it on a commercial, but I'm not quite sure as we don't have commercial TV...The day was great accented by some delicious cinnamon buns that Hoss recieved the night before. He was working so his coworkers could enjoy dinner together an he got caroled (hee, hee:) and they left some cinnamon buns so we were set for breakfast! So yeah we watch the Adolphus Christmas parade, opened presents, ate cinnamon buns and visited Max. Then his coworkers came over for dinner and we had some (not so tradition, by their request...) lasagna and fixings. It was a nice night and we sat around and played Catch Phrase (our favorite). But if anyone's known us from the last few places you know that games been through a lot and the poor thing is strting to fritz out...I think it's time for a replacement. Hope everyone is well and had a fantastic New Years. Ours was quiet and I fell asleep after a couple movies, but Hoss woke me up with a glass of wine so we could enjoy the moment together and listen to the fireworks.
Oh, and Ash was too funny this Christmas...
She fell asleep without making a peek the night before; she was "listening for the reindeer" and when she woke up her first comment was "Santa is so messy" (about the crumbs we made sure to leave on the plate. Then she proceeded to tell us she heard some jiggling and a then Santa and before she heard him leave she heard a "Ho, ho, ho" How fun!
