Spy Night Pictures

Hey!

I forgot to post these from last night...well, actually we were at this event until late and then I had to pack up to leave for Kelly's grad...so yeah...I didn't get them posted until now when we are settling down at the hotel. Anyhow, it was a fun night for military family's where they taught them to be spys. The girls had tons of fun. I hope you enjoy the pics!

Waiting to board...
Dear Daddy,

I love you and I miss you. Today we had a great day. And just in case you didn't know we are having a sleepover with grammy. Its really fun. We were supposed to go to the pool but it was going to close as soon as we went down there. So that's why we didn't go down there.

Today we flew on the plane and that's why we are seeing Grammy. We are also playing monkeys. Barrel of Monkeys. Its really funny. All you have to do is hook up the monkeys and make decorations with them. The decorations you can put them like across the house and they hook their hands together and go swinging around...and some of them start to fall off and that's how it ends. And they come in a really cool barrel that's purple.

We went to the USO and hanged out and they let us do whatever we want. and there was this old fashioned tv. Literally an old fashioned tv...(it had a vcr connected to it)...and it had those lines on it and it didn't even have a remote!

For dinner we had Applebees and I had quesadilla that came with lettuce for you to eat. And for lunch I had a whole plate of ribs!

Love, B..B...B...B...Beanie.

On the plane...they did awesome!

Dear Daddy,

Today on the flight it was cold the first part and really bumpy too. I played mineccraft and on mine craft I built a house. And by the way...minecraft...is something you...actually just a video game and you build stuff and houses with it. It gives you stuff you can build with. Well, theres other stuff too. It gives you eggs and my favorite is the swan stuff. And I built three pens that had pigs, cows and sheep. I was building and underwater tunnel but I couldn't because I put water pockets and it flooded. So yeah, I'm going to have to build another underwater thing.

When we got to Atlanta got food. I got Burger King and Brielle got....something Ribs. And Brielle got a shack [sic] of ribs and she ate them all by themselves. And do you know those little cups that have sauce in them? Well, she took a cup of BBQ and just dumped it on them.

After we went to the USO while we waited for Grammy. So we walked in and the lady was so nice. She gives us M&Ms...for free. Then we came into the kids room. It had an old school tv with no remotes, only buttons. We watched Betty Boop and she is so darn sassy! And we watched the original Care Bears and we watched...the original, original, original Casper the Friendly Ghost.

Love, Ashlynn

Palm Springs Pics

Hey Guys!

Once again we are behind. Last night I was babysitting an adorable baby until after the girls went to bed and today we played Mario Party until it was past bed time. So I figured I'd at least post these pics while I was thinking of it and feeling bad. I hope you enjoy them. You can tell that Brielle was exhausted by the time it was over:)

Take care. We'll try to write tomorrow;)

Palm Springs

We were away at a dance competition in Palm Springs yesterday and today. I thought about giving you a warning that we would be away and not be posting for a couple days, but that goes against the opsec that's been ingrained in my brain; so I didn't, sorry! Anyhow, it's too late for the girls to post tonight and they are way too tired, but I figured I'd post this picture from last night at the hotel....I'll get them to post in the morning.

Without further ado...The pic of the girls in the bathtub. (They wanted to sleep in here)

Thursday nightt...We did get to post:)

Dear Daddy,

Today we went to Barnes and Noble. and I got three books; Alice in Wonderland, Black beauty and Robin Hood. I already read half of Robin Hood, so I got to play on the iPad and the computer.

Today we went to dance and I got a bucket from my big sister for our final competition. It was full of candy and other things...my favorite was the airhead bites candy. They even gave us a pool noodle so we can use it to play at the end in the pool party.

I love you daddy and I am always thinking about you.

Love, Ashlynn

Dear Daddy,

I love you and miss you. I'm having a great time. I still wish you were here though. Today we went to dance, Barnes and Noble and Kohls. I got a belly shirt to dance in because the dance studio is getting too hot and so we are allowed to bring our fan things too.

Now my favorite thing to chew on is sunflower seeds. Its weird, there is a nut inside. Just like peanuts dad, just like peanuts. I like the nut the best because they have the most flavor.

At Barnes and Nobles, I bought three fairy books. I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for dinner also. My favorite kind of book that that I got so far, it's "Shannon the Ocean Fairy". Its a book where this fairy goes out into the ocean and when she is jack Frost's Goblins start to come and then they start attacking the water. And also I got this other book "Cara the Camp Fairy" and its about this fairy and she has to take care of all these grumpy kids that hate camping and like the other one the goblins come along. And this time they froze the whole entire woods. I read the back, that's how I know.I also got this other book and it's a jewel book with all types of fairys that have jewels; moonstone, topaz, emerald and garnet. And all of the names are Emily, Chloe and Scarlett. They are all really cool.

Lily has been acting really cute. Its awkward and adorable! In an adorable way. I love you daddy!

Bye!

Your Sweet Daughter

Can't catch up...

Hey guys,

Yesterday was a busy one and today is not looking to be much better. Yesterday the girls did a dentist appointment, a playdate, swimming lessons, two hours of dance and then another make shift playdate when a friend's rode and water got shutdown. So....needless to say we didn't get to stop until 8:30 last night and then Ashlynn ended up having a meltdown so...yeah...we didn't get a chance to blog. They didn't even get to sleep until after ten...and for those of you who know me I try to have my kids in bed by 8:00pm every night...it was crazy.

Anyhow, tonight is the three and a half hours of dance night and so we are going to get in late again. So I thought I would just take this opportunity to post the links to the girl's dances from the San Diego Fair, on the third day, in case we have another meltdown and can't manage to blog....

The clouds that weren't...

I have been here over a month now and most of my time walking to and from
either the chow and work or my room and work is usually spent either looking
down to avoid to occasional rock trying to jump out and break an ankle, or
the never ending aircraft flying to or from their unknown destinations.
Well the other night I began my trek to my room just after sunset and just
as I was admiring the almost full, orange moon rising above the horizon, I
realized that I have not seen a single cloud since I have been here.  Now I
have seen days in Nevada where there weren't clouds, but never for an extended
period of time such as this.  It is uncanny that there hasn't been even a
wisp of moisture in the air that could even be mistaken for a cloud.  I
think this is truly the land that god forgot.  I really don't understand how
people could purposely live out here.  I now think I understand why the
locals choose a nomadic life.  They are either in constant search for water
and food, or in a constant search for a lesser hell.  It totally puts into
perspective the lives we strive for and take for granted.

Well that is my thought of the day, I love you and miss you terribly and
can't wait to wake up and share a coffee and conversation with you again,

Forever yours,
Hoss

I love you Daddy!

A picture of our toes that we did last night!
Dear Daddy,

I love you and I miss you. Today I had a great day. It was super fun. Today we went to dance and Petsmart. At Petsmart we got hay for the guinea pig and bunny and stuff for their bed. And we also went to the dollar store and we got a washcloth for the dishwasher because the other one got too old and didn't last that long. So we bought a new one. I wanted it to be purple and white, but we got green and white instead. The purple and white one was a zigzag one that was really bright.

At dance, I brought my pink and white octopus. His name is Olli. He is a beanie baby. Tonight I went to play at the rec center and we had mac and cheese. And mommy got crab, but it was really freaking me out. The way that she ate it. It grossed me out the whole thing. I looked like real animal legs and she was breaking them. It looked like she was killing an animal that was already dead.

At the rec center they had a storyteller that was great! She knew what kids liked. Especially older kids! Wow she was good. She had a rope. A long rope and she did some tricks. She also did the witch's broomstick. It was really cool and she had this shark balloon too! And she also made a paper fish while she told the story.

Well, I love you daddy! Goodnight...I mean goodbye! Bye Daddy alligator!

Brielle.

                                                            Listening to the storyteller.....
Playing with the pets out in the yard

Dear Daddy,

Today I had a great day. We went and got pet bedding for the rabbit and guinea pig. We also got timothy hay for them too. We saw the cats and every time I see a cat I just want to buy one...but we can't because you won't let us and you hate cats.  They were so cute though! Also we saw some lizards and snakes there too. We wanted puppy pads so we could put them in the crib that grammy bought Beanie, so we could put the rabbit in there...but they were too expensive. We have to save our allowance.

At dance, we got a dollar to get a snack out of the snack machine. I got peanut M&Ms and Beanie got gummy bears. She shared with N. and N. gave one to me. After dance we went for the seafood boil at the military housing rec center. There was a storytelling old woman that told stories, but they were all about fish. This one boy, that I used to know, he had blond hair...Now he has a mohawk, but it is black and blue striped. It was weird!

Love Ashlynn!
