Thursday - Friday - Saturday

Hey Guys!

Let me start by saying how sorry I am to have fallen behind on the blog. Hopefully you can cut me a little slack though. Its turning out to be a very busy summer...

Thursday night we got in late from dance (8:00) and I still had to feed the girls and get them into bed. It was chaos. They were falling apart at the seams (their bedtime is 8:00) and dad wanted to chat with them for a minute before I put them to bed. So....we didn't get to blog and I swore to them, as they were begging to stay up and blog, that we would caught it up the next day. ...but as you can see...that didn't happen...but Bri and I did wait for Ash to fall asleep so we could make her birthday signs....

Friday was Ashlynn's ninth birthday and I try to make their birthday the one day that they can get away with being a spoiled brat. So, Ash woke up and drank the Pepsi she's been asking for, fro a week and then proceeded to watch six hours of television, eat nine (cookie scoop size) scoops of ice-cream and a box of gobstoppers. I am happy to say that she suffered from a massive stomach ache and hopefully learned her lesson. Then we went camping in the park with other military families. But of course, no day would be complete without a run to the dance studio, thus after setting up camp we had to go tap for an hour (and bring cupcakes to her team) and then get back to camp.

Camping was great. Ash's stomach still was hurting, but not as bad as before. The military housing people set everything up with a "Sandlot" theme. The girls colored pillowcases, ate s'mores, drank hot chocolate, and watched Sandlot. The night was pretty uneventful, just crying babies whose voices were not the least bit muffled by the tent walls, and we woke up to a french toast breakfast.

Saturday, we had more dance....Of course:) It was an extra practice because of their competition next week. And then was a team playdate. In the evening we watched "Mamma Mia" with friends in preparation for today's concert in the park on Coronado. Tonight we are going to picnic at the park and watch ABBA Fab perform all of ABBA's songs. It should be awesome. Oh and we are planning to go to the beach too. Hopefully it won't be too late of a night, but we'll see. I'll still try to let them blog since they are so far behind.

Dear Daddy,

Today we had a bike ride and then we walked the puppies. It was a loooong time, but we made it through. We had fun.

At dance we dropped off M. and we got Little Caesars pizza. I tried to do Hula, but I was horrible so I told Miss Joanne my mom was calling me and left. I also thought it was a baby class and didn't want to dance with the little kids.

At Brielle's swimming lesson, Brielle swam and mommy talked to her friend while I did math. I also read for an hour. In my book Kit's dad lost her job and their Uncle Hedrick came.

We mailed you already four cards and two packages this week. I tried to eat all your beef jerky, but mom wouldn't let me.

Dear Daddy,

I love you and I miss you. I had a great day today. Today we went to dance and swimming lessons. It was really fun and we had Little Caesars today. At dance, hip hop, it was Ashlynn's fault because M. said "can Ashlynn stay and play" and then they stayed there forever and then mom missed watching my class and I got so mad! And mom even said "come on I really want to see Brielle's class" but then they just kept on going. And that's why I'm not fine right now! I'm not in a good mood! (I had to run one of her dance buddies home in-between classes and it took forever so I missed all but the last of her class)

Today we went on a bike ride and I got so tired and I found a marble on the bike ride. We also walked the puppies and they got really, really hot. And then when we got home they were so happy they were jumping around! They were so having fun. They were really, really, really more happy than you thought they would be.

Tuesday

Dear Daddy,

I love you and I miss you. Today I had a great day! We went to the beach and dance. It was so fun. At the beach, mommy got knocked over five times! We rode our body boards. I rode it all the way to the shore and hit gianormous ones. It was amazing. Too bad it wasn't the giant ones that are ten feet bigger. It was about four feet high waves. When there was big waves I didn't use a bad word. I used the word "oh my coconut seeds!" And then I got covered in sand and it was really sandy and then I covered mommy and sissie in sand. And tonight we are eating pink porridge. It has food coloring in it.  I pretended to be goldilocks with the porridge. We got the cream wheat brand. Yeah, that's what we have and mommy says it's baby cereal.

B. came over today and we dressed up bunny and Niblet and acted like he was our baby. We put them in the crib also. And we did it as soon as we got home from dance too. At dance, I got ready and was in my tap shoes and then I couldn't do it because they were practicing for Palm Springs. You know the competition. So I played with A. and C.

Dear daddy,

Today we went to the beach. Miss April got mad at me, S. & M. because S & M. went to the pool and I went to the beach. She got mad because we were too tired to dance. At the beach the waves were monstrous, but we had loads of fun. But there was sand all over us! It hurt because it was scraping against our skin.

We also played with B. and dressed up bunny and Niblet. And earlier today we dressed up bunny and it was a fairy princess. Tomorrow we are going to dress them up too.

Dear girlies,

How did you sleep?  Today was great for me because I got your package and ate a couple cookies and a rice crispy treat right away.  It was yummy!  Tomorrow is "Waffle Wednesday" where the supply Marines make waffles.  They are not as good as mine and they never make enough.  I am glad that you to are having a good summer.  It sounds like you guys are having a lot of fun . I bet your mom is going to go crazy now with two ferbies in the house.  Well I hope you have a good day.  I love you two very much and can't wait to come home.

Today was a good day.

Dear Dad-da,

Today we played with B. in the morning. Then we went to the PX. Well before we played with B. we went to the PX. I got a furby. It was pink with white polka dots. They are driving mommy crazy. When you have two furbys in the house; they never sleep. I named him NaDoo, that means cotton candy in furbish.

When B. was over we played with Niblet and Niblet was a poop monster. He pooped everywhere when we had him out, but that's ok because he was on the 'nolium. We also played with the small polly pockets. We got along just fine.

We also went to target and we got life jackets for the beach so we can go body boarding. I can't wait.

Dear Daddy,

I loooooooveeeee yooooouuuuuuuu and I miss you. It was great seeing you today on the phone. Right now I'm eating Ramen for dinner. Daddy, today can you write on the blog too? Maybe you can write on the blog because you have your computer. It would be cool if you could.

Today my furby is having so much fun because Ashlynn got a furby. She's just talking and talking. She even sings songs together with Ashlynn's. I love my furby. It is very cute. Now I can't get it to fall asleep. It is staying awake with Ashlynn's furby. If they are together they fall asleep and wake up talking. (Seriously, I'm going to take out the batteries....they won't stop...ahhhhhh!!!!!!)

Today we also went to target to grab life jackets. We are going to go to the beach tomorrow. And you low the brand "Speedo"? That is the brand of our lifejackets. Ashlynn got a blue one and I got a pink one. I am wearing it. I don't want to take it off.

I love you. Do you have anything important to do? If you do tell me and maybe write it on the blog.

We played with B. today and we got along really well. I want you to come home so bad.  We played mini pollys with B. We also brought out Niblet, but he kept on pooing. It was weird.

A Giant Wave!

Howdy Daddy!

How you doin daddy! I'm having a great day! Today I went surfing on the blow up turtle. You know the inflatable that we used at Welk? We used it at the beach and it went up and zoomed you off to shore. IT WAS AMAZING!!! And still we shared it with everybody and mom said we were great at sharing it. It was really fun.

I played in the waves too. And I got plopped on my booty and I went bump bump bump bump! and on the shore I couldn't get up. The waves even put mommy down. I couldn't even stand. We were holding hands and going into the waves. You know the beach that's always empty? Today it was like filled. It was like a whole crowd trying to see something but I don't know what.  It was so fun. It was like WOW you have to go again. But we're not tomorrow because tomorrow we are going to play with B.

It was fun because we had fun. I really want you to listen to "Banana Split for my Baby" today. It would be really special if you knew my favorite song in the whole entire world. Its like POOF you would abracababra know it. It would be faaaaaaaaantastic.

Tonight we did a carwash and we went to the commissary. We were going to buy a furby but then we couldn't because the PX was closed. We were mad, but mommy said we could go tomorrow and that's ok with me. Right now I'm playing with Lilly. And at the carwash mommy said we could help, but we couldn't because it was timed...and mommy thought we couldn't do it because it would be too hard.

Dear Daddy,

Today was a really, really fun day. Today we went to the beach. The waves were monsters. The waves were crashing everywhere. We played with the turtle with some friends we didn't know. Mommy said we were really good shares. After we were done playing with the turtle we put it down and went to play in the waves. The waves were monstrous and they even took mommy down.

Then we went to the commissary. But before we went to the commissary me and Brielle figured out that if I put my birthday money and my allowance together then we could get a furby. Then we went to the commissary. After the commissary was done we tried to go to the PX, but it was closed. We were sad, but mommy told me that I could go tomorrow and get it.

When we got home we saw B.'s mom and she said we could play with B. tomorrow. I can't wait for her to see bunny and Niblet.

Back to San Diego...

Sorry for not writing over the last couple of days. We went to my Grandpa's funeral in Colorado. It was quite the adventure. I drove both girls and both dogs. On the way we hit traffic, construction, a major accident that shut down the entire freeway, the car overheated, we went through a thunder storm and we stopped continuously. Do you know how long it takes to stop at a gas station when you have to fill up and potty girls AND dogs...so long! At any rate it took us 15 1/2 hours to get there. We stayed the day of the funeral and we drove back with the same sort of issues the next day. I'm glad we went and I'm glad we are home. 

Today we went to a summer pops concert in the embarcadero downtown. It is a symphony event conducted by the guy who wrote THE "Rocky" song. The military housing people host it every year and we get to go and listen to patriotic songs. This is our third year in a row and we have loved it every year. The cutest part was when they played The Marine Hymn and the girls stood up to represent their daddy. 

After that we walked along the water and then went for yogurt. At the yogurt place they were playing The Parent Trap with Lindsey Lohan and the girls were mesmerized so we went home and found it on Netflix. They had only seen the old one before today. 

At any rate, I am sorry for not writing over the last few days and I hope you will understand....

Dear Daddy,

I love you and I miss you! I had six and one half of brownies today. Homemade brownies. You would love them. I wish we could send some to you, I'm hoping we can, but maybe they would get spoiled. Maybe they would melt. 

Today we watched the new one of "Parent Trap." It was fun, like normal. Just a regular old movie. We went to the Pops Concert and I got a bright pink mustache from the tattoo people, hoping it would be pink, but instead it's fainted pink and you can barely see it. 

After the concert, we we walked around the bay then we went to Fiji Yogurt and I got this amazing balls. They are strawberry and I got them for my funfetti yogurt. They were like these itsy bits balls that like pop in your mouth and they are like so good. (boba)

Dear Daddies,

I love you! We went to the pop concert today and I got a tattoo. It was a mustache. Don't worry it wasn't a real tattoo. It was a paint one from markers. But there was another one too...and I bet you know it because it was the "Rolling Stones" symbol. And my mustache was red, white and blue. Oh and did I mention that Dr. Mitchell was in the pops concert?

Afterwards we were walking out of the concert and mommy let us start to climb the trees and I was just about to get down when a mean old lady told me that if I fell down I would have to go in the hospital for two whole months. But I knew she was lying because I have fallen off trees before and I didn't even have to go to the hospital.

We watched the parent trap too. It was a really, really, really good movie.

Monday - Fun Day

Dear Daddy,

I miss you really, really much. We went to the doctors office, but we forgot my medicine. We were really, really worried. I got three warts frozen off. But my big wart wouldn't come off we have to go back in three weeks. They used the big gun to freeze it off and it hurt. Both of them did. Then I got my finger poked for checking iron.

We also went to the pool for swim class. At swim class we had another teacher. I had to go to the bottom of the deep dark pool because I was diving and went to the bottom and got the teacher's sunglasses. I also did dives from the side of the pool. That's how I went to the bottom by diving. He taught me the butterfly stroke where you bring both your hands out of the water and breath.

I also used my rollerblades, but after I got really, really, really hot and I got a stomach ache. And I still have it right now, right now, while I am talking to you.

Dear Daddy,

I love you and miss you. Today I had a great day. It was super fun. You know me, always having a great day! But not as good as when you were there. You made my life a lot easier. Its fun having you with me, cause your my daddy and of course everyone loves their daddy and you are mine and that's you. You are my little daddy and that's how you make me sweet. You're the one who keeps me happy.

Today I had a lot of fun doing swimming. It was really fun. I learned this new step called the side breathing. You know how people do side breathing right daddy. you had to have taken swimming in your life before. Its fun and very, very interesting, like you!

I also went to the doctor's office. It was fun also. And we also went to Pet Smart. It was fun....as normal! I got a tunnel for Niblet and he really likes it. Ummmmmmmmm I love you! I wonder if you are having a great day. I wonder if you could blog soon? Can you blog soon?

Tonight I rode my skateboard. It looked like I was a pro, but sometimes not. And mommy even rode the skateboard.  I LOVE YOOOOOOOOOOU!
